It has been a while since my last post. I suppose life and it's daily tasks and hectic schedule has indeed caught up with this Mommy. This Wednesday our little Piper is going to be 2 years old! I can't even believe it. It seems like just last week I was in the hospital and looked at her sweet face and fell in love. Even now, I literally just gave her kisses and put her nite. Still can't comprehend. She is the cutest, smartest, fearless, and silliest girl I have ever met. Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what god had in store for us. I think god made her extra special cause we really needed it. It boggles my mind that such a big personality comes in such a tiny package. She is talking and we get new sentences every day. Currently she likes to blurt out Yee hah and reach for the stars!! She absolutely loves Toy Story. In fact, that is the theme of her Birthday Party.
Ah the Birthday Party....It's Saturday September 11th at 2 PM. We have rented a bouncy castle and my mom offered to do face painting. Piper's cousin Ally was also born on September 8th so we are having a joint party for both of them. We plan on having about 14 kids and plenty of family. I am keeping it simple this year. Pizza's cupcakes and cake. Last year her party was so big I didn't get to really stop and enjoy her, even with the help I had (much appreciated). I am decorating the cake table with toy blocks from Toy Story that will read the party's here or happy birthday. I'm also having the army guys faced towards the cake and toy story characters placed all around. I know she's only two and won't remember all of it but I love that girl, and she loves Toy Story. I still have quite a bit more to do and to buy but I am almost finished. That makes me happy and definitely less stressed. I am praying for good weather and even got my friend to watch our dogs during the party. YAY!!!! I plan on posting pics soon. That's all for now.
